ABOUT US
SOS For Humanitarian Actions, Inc. is a 501 (C)(3) Nonprofit, charitable
& humanitarian organization. We are registered with the State
of Georgia, USA.
We are exempt from federal income tax under the Internal Revenue
Code (IRC) Section 501 (C)(3). Donors can deduct contributions they make
to us under the IRC Section 170. We are also qualified to receive
tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under Section 2055, 2106,
or 2522.
Donations to our organization are tax-deductible.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide humanitarian assistance to people
in crucial need of help.
PRESENTATION OF THE ORGANIZATION
In the midst of crisis — when the most vulnerable lack access to
basic necessities such as food or shelter, humanitarian
aid brings relief in those tough times. Help is provided based
on need, with the goal of soothing human suffering and maintaining human
dignity.
We are a very small organization with a mission to help, and part
of our duties is to seek resources from those who can help, and use them to
provide assistance to those who seriously need it.
We want to make sure that we deliver humanitarian
assistance according to selection criteria that identify needs and
target those that are least able to provide for themselves.
Because of very limited resources, our services have to be
specifically focused:
- In the USA, we provide resources to support Homeless
Shelters.
- In Africa, we provide support to orphans and communities in crucial need.
